Gin Fizz

Gin, lemon and a light foam, finished with sparkling soda.

What you need

Quantities from our original recipe. Batch yields are noted where specified.

  • 4 cl Gin
  • 2 cl sugar syrup
  • 3 cl lemon juice
  • 1 egg white
  • soda water
  • Optional rosemary or thyme
  • optional: Angostura Bitter
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Cocktail strainer
  • ice cubes
  • Good spirits!
  • Thirsty guests!

How to make it

  1. Add gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white to a shaker.
  2. Shake without ice, then add ice and shake again until cold.
  3. Strain into a tall glass.
  4. Top with soda water and garnish with rosemary or thyme if desired.
  5. Add a little Angostura bitters if you like.
