Amaretto Sour

Sweet almond liqueur meets fresh lemon and a soft layer of foam.

What you need

Quantities from our original recipe. Batch yields are noted where specified.

  • 5 cl Amaretto
  • 3 cl fresh lemon juice
  • 2.5 cl sugar syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Jigger
  • ice cubes
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Good spirits!
  • Guests!

How to make it

  1. Measure the Amaretto, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white into a shaker.
  2. Shake without ice to combine the ingredients and build the foam.
  3. Add ice and shake again until cold.
  4. Strain into your serving glass and garnish as you like.
