Welcome drinks for 20, 50 or 100 guests

Start with one welcome drink for each guest, rather than guessing quantities for the whole evening. This guide uses our Gin Hass recipe as a practical example. Adjust the number of alcoholic drinks to your guests and provide an alcohol-free choice.

Shopping quantities: Gin Hass

The table assumes every guest chooses one Gin Hass. If 10 of 50 guests want an alcohol-free drink, calculate 40 Gin Hass and 10 alcohol-free drinks separately. Ice and garnish are additional.

These are exact recipe quantities before shopping. Round up to suitable bottle sizes after choosing your guest split. Measure lime juice; the amount of juice in each lime varies.

Choose a drink that fits your party

Gin Hass is built in the glass and is straightforward to serve to a crowd. Margaritas require shaking and straining small batches. For many guests arriving together, a drink built in the glass is often simpler.

Prepare before guests arrive

Set out glasses, a jigger and garnishes. Chill soda and ingredients. Measure gin, mango and lime into clean containers and keep covered and chilled until serving the same day. Keep ice and carbonated mixers separate from the base.

Serve fresh drinks for every guest

Add ice shortly before serving. Pour the base, then top with lemon soda. Never shake carbonated mixers in a closed shaker. Make a test drink before serving the full group.

Include an alcohol-free welcome

Offer an alcohol-free Mojito or another separately balanced mocktail. Provide water and clearly identify alcohol-free drinks. Give them the same care with presentation and garnish as the alcoholic cocktails.

Planning drinks for the whole evening?

The table covers the welcome only, not the entire party. A full bar also depends on duration, other drinks, guest preferences and service. Request a quote based on your own event.
